I know that I am only one person but in my opinion, I feel that both sides did a great job in presenting their case.

Unfortunately there is still the missing "incident".

This girl may well get away with murder, as there has been no direct evidence presented,

during the actual incident that links Casey Anthony to the cause of the death of Caylee Anthony, or her murder.

The jury was only given four options.

Three of witch could tie her directly to the actual death of the little girl.

Had the judge given the option of "Neglect, resulting in the death of a child", they may have been able to find her guilty of that, since she waited so long to notify anyone of Caylee Anthony being missing, but the only for options given to the jury were: 1st. degree murder, Manslaughter, child abuse and giving false info to authorities.

It was already agreed that there was no physical child abuse of Caylee Anthony, by Casey Anthony.

There have been no ties, linking Casey Anthony to the actual death of Caylee Anthony.

Therefore, since there is no option of "Neglect, resulting in the death of a child",

I feel that it is very possible that she may walk, on everything, accept for the giving false information charge...

That little baby is in heaven anyway, and she's definitely a whole lot better off then any of us are doing right now, on this mean old planet...

Anglers chasing bass along the Jersey shoreline have been landing nice-sized fish as evidenced by the 47-pound cow caught at the Shrewsbury Rocks by Al Bowen on Sunday and weighed at the Great Kills Yacht Club.

Closer to home, bass, blues and fluke are showing around the Island, and sea bass, cod and ling are showing on the offshore wrecks. Fluke fishermen say short fluke are being caught and released locally along with some keepers.

From Joe at Michael’s Bait and Tackle in Great Kills, we learn good numbers of bass are showing at Shrewsbury Rocks and along the edges of Ambrose Channel, and lots of bluefish are showing at the mouth of the harbor.

The beaches are producing mostly blues during the day and better bass action after the sun goes down. Fluke with some keepers mixed in are showing around the Island. The offshore wrecks are producing sea bass and ling.

Paul at Great Kills Bait and Tackle says Raritan Bay is producing bluefish action and some bass during the day and better bass action at night. Fluke are showing along the channel edges and on the flats. Good numbers of bass are showing along Ambrose Channel, on Romar Shoal and off Breezy Point during daylight hours.

Phyllis at Aunt Phyllis’ Bait Shop, Midland Beach, reports bass, blues and fluke are keeping regulars fishing from South and Midland beaches and off the Ocean Breeze Fishing Pier happy.

From Patty at Scags Bait and Tackle, New Brighton, we learn plenty of fish are showing with the waters off the Terrace producing mostly bass, some bluefish, and a handful of fluke.

Anglers fishing from the St. George Fishing Pier over the weekend enjoyed good bluefish action and also landed some fluke and bass. On the fresh water scene, Patty reports anglers fishing Silver Lake with night crawlers and small plastic worms are enjoying good bass action. Pickerel are showing at Eibs and Brady’s ponds.

Captain Mike Romeo of the Great Kills Harbor-based Atlantis Princess, reports fluke action has been good with Tommy Dorocco landing three keepers to 4.5-pounds and taking Saturday’s pool.

The Friday and Saturday night bass and bluefish trips produced good action close to home on bunker chunks. The Princess sails daily for fluke with trips scheduled at 8 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. every day except Thursday. The vessel also sails on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night for bass and blues at 7 p.m.

Captain Rob Skonieczny of Outcast Charters reports sea bass fishing from New Jersey is off to a good start. Saturday’s fishing was a grind, with fares landing a mix of sea bass to 5.5-pounds, cod and ling.

On Sunday mostly sea bass, and ling were landed by the six anglers aboard. Again, the sea bass were sizeable weighing up to 3.5-pounds. Charters are also sailing for striped bass.

New studies of the experimental drug vemurafenib and the newly approved drug Yervoy (ipilimumab) were published online in the New England Journal of Medicine and also presented at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) in Chicago.

The studies show that the two drugs can improve survival in patients who have had few treatment options in the past.

"In advanced melanoma we really haven't had good treatments," says Petra Rietschel, MD, PhD, who directs the Melanoma/Sarcoma Program at Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Care in New York City. She was not involved with the studies.

"There hasn't been anything, ever, that was proven to prolong survival, and now we have two drugs and probably more on the way," she says.

How Vemurafenib Works

Close to 70,000 people in the U.S. are diagnosed with melanoma each year and about 8,700 patients die of the disease, according to the National Cancer Institute.

When the cancer has not spread it can be cured surgically by removing cancerous mole-like skin lesions. Once the cancer has metastasized, however, long-term survival drops to around 15%.

Vemurafenib, which is being developed by Genentech, targets a specific tumor mutation present in around half of patients with advanced melanoma known as BRAF.

The newly reported results included 675 patients with inoperable, metastatic melanoma with the tumor mutation treated with either the experimental drug or the standard chemotherapy drug dacarbazine.

Prior to Yervoy's approval in late March, dacarbazine was the only drug specifically approved for the treatment of advanced melanoma.

After three months of treatment, the vemurafenib-treated patients had a 63% reduction in the risk of death and a 74% reduction in disease progression or death compared to the patients treated with the chemotherapy.

Close to 50% of patients on the experimental drug responded to treatment, compared to around 5% of dacarbazine-treated patients.

About one in five patients taking vemurafenib developed non-melanoma skin tumors, and other common side effects included skin rashes, photosensitivity, and joint pain.
